NMGCA sponsors 4 shows a year. Three Gun, Sword and Knife Shows typically held the first full weekend in March, June and October, and the Albuquerque Old West Show typically held either the first or second weekend in August. Both members and non‐members may submit applications for tables.

Along with the shows in March and October NMGCA also sponsors a Display table contest with cash awards for winners in certain categories. One 8 foot table is provided free to each person entered into the Display contest.

Show hours are Saturday 9‐5 and Sunday 9‐4. All shows are currently held at the New Mexico State Fair Grounds, 300 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque NM 87108 (also known as Expo NM). Hours for the AOWS are Saturday 9‐5 and Sunday 9‐3. Entrance fees are adults $6, NRA members who show their NRA Membership card at the door are $5, Law enforcement officers with either their badge or commission card are $1 and active duty military with ID are $1. Children 12 and under are free. Anyone under 18 must be with a guardian.
